Project Title: Mars Coffee House
Project Type: Cafe
Architect: Mustafa Jamal
Location: Kirkuk University, Kirkuk, Iraq
Year: 2024
Located at the heart of Kirkuk University, the locally well-known coffee house exhibits a distinct architectural identity that aligns seamlessly with its brand concept of framing memories. The interior design revolves around wooden panels and dark navy metal beams, serving both structural and symbolic purposes. Drawing inspiration from the concept of capturing and framing scenes of cherished moments. Through its cozy ambiance, carefully curated simplicity, and intimate seating corners.
The space incorporates wooden panels that artfully frame scenes within the space. These panels serve as visual dividers, subtly delineating different areas and creating intimate pockets within the coffee shop.
The layout of the seating arrangements enhances a sense of closeness, making the space perfect for a variety of activities, from focused work, quiet reading, to friendly coffee gatherings.
